Painting this year’s Folks Fest poster was an absolute dream and wonderful process. As a lifelong ‘Festivarian’ myself, all I needed for inspiration was to remember the beauty of this gathering. People dancing and singing together in the Colorado sunshine, the river flowing and mountains towering above, and the beautiful instruments that grace the stage. Every time I go to Folks Fest I like to make a flower crown and wear it all day, which was the vision behind the floral border. 

This poster was painted by hand with watercolors and love, and I hope it reminds people for years to come of the joy and togetherness of the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival!”
